Family Photoshoot in Savernake Forest, Wiltshire

I love an outdoor family photoshoot, and I am so lucky to live near Savernake Forest near Marlborough which is a stunning natural background for photographs.

I met Charlotte, Pat and Ruari early on a Sunday morning. Charlotte had already filled out my family questionnaire so I knew what they were after from a photoshoot, and little R's likes and dislikes. I also send all my families a pre shoot guide which gives tips on what to wear and how best to prepare for their session.

I start all my photoshoots with some more 'formal' pictures of everyone together looking at the camera, and then we move onto smaller group and individual shots. Then it's time for some playing, swinging and general mucking about in the woods. Savernake is the perfect playground, especially for families with little children as there are so many dens, rope swings and places to run around.
